So the WSU CVM is in the news again...this time for our outreach and recruitment of the Washington State FFA members who were on campus last week for their annual state convention.

 (Special thanks to the Treadmill Team for running the demos!)

As a former national and state FFA officer myself, I have a soft-spot for these future agricultural leaders.  I also am well-aware that many of them have toyed with the idea of being a veterinarian...so this year the CVM offered a number of tours, workshops and of course, treadmill demo's for the FFA members.  Approximately 3500 students came to Pullman for the convention and about 200 made their way, at one point or another, to the CVM!

The 2010 VMCAS application will launch early June 2008. Before we launch this year’s application, we are asking school admissions staff to assist us in testing the application.  If you also know of applicants that would like to take part, please forward them this message. This is an excellent opportunity for them to familiarize themselves with the application prior to the roll-out in June.  We will open the application for testing as soon as Monday, April 13, 2009 and will test for approximately three weeks.
