Students who were engaged in research in the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009 presented a poster session on October 14 detailing their work. The Student Research Symposium is sponsored by Pfizer Animal Health.

A major purpose of this event is to recognize (and learn from) the efforts of students and trainees–veterinary students, undergraduate students, graduate students, and residents/interns – who contribute to the research mission of the college and profession.

Dr. Joshua A. Stern of Washington State University was  selected to participate in the Pfizer Animal Health-Morris Animal Foundation Veterinary Fellowship for Advanced Study. Fellows are provided with mentored research activities, focusing on basic or applied research to benefit companion animals, horses, or wildlife.
